Day 1: Arrival in Shimla

  • Arrival: Arrive at Shimla by flight/train/bus.
  • Transfer to Hotel: Check-in at your hotel in Shimla.
  • Relax & Refresh: Spend the day relaxing after your travel.
  • Evening: Explore the Mall Road, Shimla's main commercial street. Visit Scandal Point and The Ridge, enjoy a walk, shop, and try some local snacks.
  • Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

  • Morning: After breakfast, visit Kufri, a popular hill station located just 16 km from Shimla. Here you can enjoy activities like horse riding, skiing (in winter), and go-karting.
  • Afternoon: Visit the Jakhoo Temple (famous for its Hanuman statue), Christ Church, and Shimla State Museum.
  • Evening: Relax and enjoy the scenic views from the Mall Road or visit Lakkar Bazaar for wooden souvenirs.
  • Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali (275 km / 8-9 hrs)

  • Morning: After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Manali. The journey is long, but the views of the countryside are beautiful.
  • Enroute: Stop at scenic spots like Kullu, where you can shop for woollen clothes and shawls.
  • Evening: Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 4: Manali Sightseeing

  • Morning: Visit Hadimba Temple, a unique shrine set amidst a cedar forest.
  • Afternoon: Head to Manu Temple, dedicated to the sage Manu, and explore Vashisht Temple and its hot springs.
  • Evening: Stroll along Mall Road for shopping, enjoy local delicacies, and explore nearby cafes.

Day 5: Solang Valley & Rohtang Pass

  • Morning: After breakfast, take a half-day trip to Solang Valley (25 km from Manali), which is perfect for adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (in winter).
  • Afternoon: Visit Rohtang Pass (subject to weather conditions and availability of permits). It's one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and glaciers.
  • Evening: Return to Manali and relax.

Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala (240 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • Morning: After breakfast, check-out and start your drive to Dharamshala. You can stop for lunch at a picturesque spot on the way.
  • Evening: Arrive in Dharamshala and check-in to your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 7: Dharamshala Sightseeing

  • Morning: Visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex (Tsuglagkhang), the residence of the Tibetan spiritual leader.
  • Afternoon: Explore Bhagsu Waterfall, Bhagsunath Temple, and the Tibetan Museum.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Pathankot/Amritsar (Departure)

  • Afternoon: Catch your train/flight back to your destination.
